It’s sometimes refreshing to hunger for the next show, and because we took the month of January off our normal busy schedule, that meant we were plenty hungry. Bogart’s Entertainment Center was the perfect venue to get this Minnesota cover band back out there. They have a sprawling multi-level stage with pro sound and new lighting.  Plus, an enviable table setup in their entertainment center.  We love this place. This is a great example of how venues SHOULD work with their entertainment to draw a crowd. They are relentless in their online promotion, they run ticket giveaways, they provide prizes at the end of the night. It’s a model every place should follow!

Back to that hunger: we had dancers take to the floor almost immediately, and they rolled throughout the night. Sugar Buzz decided to color coordinate BLUE for the evening, and donned a myriad of bright blues as a foreground to the lighting.

A group of gals all dressed in leopard prints together – we called them our “leopard ladies”.  A guy named MYKE got on the lowest stage level and danced with Beth while the crowd cheered and shot photos.  It felt like none of us knew that the groundhog saw his shadow a mere days before.

It’s great to be “back in the saddle” to kick off a new year of Twin Cities cover band shows!
