Sugar Buzz Minnesota Cover Band at Bogart’s Entertainment Center

Sugar Buzz always looks forward to seeing Bogart’s Entertainment Center on our upcoming gig schedule. It’s a fantastic stage with new lighting, wonderful atmosphere, professional sound production (we love you, Dave Langholz!) , and relentless advertising in support of their music program.  This Minnesota cover band likes it a lot!

So, we also loved having Bogart’s as the place to debut 3 new songs to our setlist!

Myke and his crew of 20+ people were celebrating his birthday with us.  Myke and Darcy are avid live music followers and led a fun group of dancers that hit the floor at the first drum beat.   On the other side of the room, Leah had just turned 40 and her large table was there to celebrate!  Her actual birthday was 2 ½ weeks prior, but she wanted to save the celebration for when Sugar Buzz was playing.  Both groups, along with third birthday girl, Kolette, brought the energy to the dancefloor!  All 3 songs received warm “welcome to the setlist” vibes.  First: Living la Vida Loca premiered early in set 1 and the dancers welcomed it !  Second to the dance “There’s only one way to Rock” by Sammy Hagar. Thirdly, The Cars’ “You Might Think” brought the electronic feel as Brendan flashed a new drum pad to recreate the sound and Dale took lead vocals while Beth stepped in on bass. All experience told the band “these are the right choices to add to the list”.

We flanked the Latino, New Wave and Rock with 2020’s Chappel Roan pop, 90s Metallica and 60s Rolling Stones.  We left no “STONE” unturned to secure our reputation as truly a variety band.  One fan stated: “I love how you feather in the not-so-often played tunes with the popular ones people want. It’s a great mix!”

Indeed.  We go for that GREAT MIX!
