We love playing Bogart’s Entertainment Center.  We love the staff, they know how to promote their live music program, the stage and room are amazing.  Hence this Minnesota cover band is always excited to see it on the schedule. And, we always have a great crowd.  Sugar Buzz was looking forward to this show as a kickoff to October.  Then we realized: oh no — there’s a huge outdoor multi-band music show just down the street at a local brewery happening the SAME NIGHT. It’s a band’s worst nightmare.  This festival is extremely well-advertised with some big names and a huge stage… and it was and unseasonably warm Minnesota night outdoors.

That said, we can’t always predict conflicting local events (nor can our host venues).  We had to make the best of it. The venue ended up satisfied at our crowd—although definitely not the 200+ we normally bring, they were pleased with the crowd of over 100 that not only showed up, but STAYED and purchased food and drink until the end.  We made sure we brought the party to those who trusted us with their evening. You have to give your all every time.  Sugar Buzz did.

We talked up the new Campfire Mule fall drink (and one came up to the stage)—our guitarists and bass player walked through the dancefloor playing with the dancefloor faithful, and we kept hearing “you’re so much fun – we’re so glad we came”.  That’s what we love to hear.  We’re back already with 2 more dates in 2026, and we made sure our crowd knew that.  We were proud of what we were able to draw, the show we put on, and the value for the venue.  That’s all we can deliver!
