Any show in the month of March can be a bit tricky for a Minnesota cover band. When these come up in our event schedule, it could be blizzard conditions, rain, sleet, anything really. This time was different . 74 degrees and sunny. Strange indeed, which made the night a hot one in the literal sense for clubs around the metro that hadn’t thought air conditioning would be necessary yet. But it was. Sometimes, you just have to deal with the heat. What worked in our favor was that the venue had LED lighting so the lights weren’t throwing off any extra heat!
It’s St. Paddy’s Day weekend, but NOT the Saturday of that weekend. That can also be challenging, but a good group of loyal Buzzers showed up. We were bolstered by some new fans: Marie and Madison, mom and daughter, who were celebrating their birthdays that week. Shout outs from the stage were called for and Beth gave them her venue free drink tickets as a present! We love our fans far and wide. Nate is a regular who shows up consistently with his Sugar Buzz hat and shirt, and Janet and her friends joined mid-set on the dancefloor. We have followers who will go anywhere in the metro for us, and we have those who stay close to home, but always show up when we are in the neighborhood. We are grateful for all kinds. We danced, played and sweat through the night, from SHOUT to Enter Sandman. Hot or not, we make sure we give it all we’ve got. Thank you fans old and new. This is why we do it.
