It sometimes happens, and you always roll with it. That’s the magic about being in a Minnesota cover band. We were back at a venue that we would play about 1x yearly and it’s always a different adventure each time. Once or twice there were snowstorms, or some other debacle. Nothing of the sort was on the horizon this time. Just…. Stuff. Sometimes you just forget the intro, or there’s a funny sound or glitch in the sound, or there’s just a weird vibe. Our job is to make sure our fans don’t notice any of that. They just have a great time. We pride ourselves on THAT experience. We remain relaxed, approachable and fun. Taking photos with fans and dancing with them on the floor as our wireless monitors allow. It’s the connection that makes a band one that fans follow. We appreciate all those who follow Sugar Buzz, discover us and connect with us show after show.
We are reminded who we are after viewing our recently released promo video: we are engaging, we are fun, we are professional. We work so hard to make sure that every event on the schedule gets that same attention and flavor. We have 2 more shows before we take a 6 week rest break, and we’ll be happy to be with our families and other duties, but oh so happy to return to our playing schedule. We do what we love.
